Dear Brando,

I apologise for bothering you but I am writing about your advert as I wondered whether these positions should paid if you expect them to do work for you?

Is that not right? I would be grateful you could let me know.

Many thanks

No reply.

Hi Brando,

Would it be possible to have an answer to this?

Many thanks

Hi Brando,

I apologise for bothering you again but would it be possible for you to address this?

Many thanks

No reply. Obviously Brando doesn't think that is a question worth answering.

It's time to ask Discovery about this - I wonder if they expect their performers to be paid as part of compliance/overseas sales etc. If anyone has the contact names of any commissioning editors or execs at any of the Discovery Channels, I would be very grateful.

Meanwhile Brando Quilici, http://www.brandoquilici.com: Freelancers Beware!

I have done work for him and although a slow payer, he has always paid the going rates for kit hire. I got the impression from his arrogant attitude that his company was pretty flush for funds.

It has taken an extremely long time and the determined efforts of a number of Discovery execs but finally Brando Quilici has confirmed that these actors will be paid at least the minimum wage for their work.

Finally.
