Michal Dziubinski. Kadale Carew. Snatching Sanity.

A filmmaker based in London has had their ARRI Alexa mini with serial number 24203 and approximately 5900 hrs stolen after renting to Kadele Carew Emannuel from Mastermind Motion Pictures LTD.

He claimed to work for a project called Snatching Sanity. After Kadele claimed the ARRI Alexa mini was missing on August 8, he refused to report to police and failed to provide any sort of compensation.

He has since not been contactable. The film maker has found several items from his “lost” items has already been traded in a few second hand trading platform including Ebay and Transfer Money.

The incident has been reported to the police.

News in of a production which is using Runners but not feeling the need to pay them at least the legal minimum: Snatching Sanity, being made by Michal Dziubinski and Kadale Carew of Mastermind Motion Pictures.

After advertising for paid crew on Facebook, Michal and Kadale offered unpaid work to the most junior workers on the basis that the paid jobs ahd all been taken. His only response when asked why these runners weren’t being paid was to point out that “this project has people involved (with) people from happy valley, east-enders”.

While it may be very jolly to rub along with these glittery individuals, it doesn’t in itself constitute much of a valid reason why the runners on this show shouldn’t also be paid for the work they do.
